Raspberry Filled Cream Puff Hearts
   

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cool Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients:

Cream Puff

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 large eggs

Cream Filling:

  • 2 cups Whipped Topping–thawed
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Raspberry Filling:

  • 1(21 oz.) can Raspberry Pie Filling
 
 
Your family will rejoice when they bite into these sweet and delicate heart shaped cream puffs!
 

Directions:

 
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Bring butter, sugar, salt and 1 cup of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Stir in flour, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for three minutes.
  4. Cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, beating after each egg until smooth.
  6. Spoon dough into heart shapes onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Slice each puff in half horizontally.

Treat Time

Read: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” (Psalms 28:7.)

Give each family member a heart to fill with cream and raspberries.

Sing: A song of praise, “We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet.” Hymn #19, to the Lord for giving us prophets to help us.
