Do I have to be an LSI customer to use this site?
No. A purpose of LDSFamilyFun is to create resources which strengthen families and growing testimonies. All our online content is provided free for personal, non-commercial use in home and teaching opportunities. Many of our ideas are designed to build upon the large Living Scriptures media library. When needed, we provide smaller, streamed media clips to accompany the other resources available. We hope you will consider the high-quality DVD products, but there are many resources here that any LDS family can use and enjoy! |
Why do I have to login to download files?
By monitoring content usage, together with direct user feedback, we can improve and put our efforts toward creating resources that are being used by the most visitors. We also want a clean, constructive online experience. |
Am I going to receive unwanted emails?
Receiving email from us is strictly voluntary. We value your time and attention, and want you to look forward to hearing from us. We will contact you no more frequently than once per week. Our email newsletter, when it comes, will be useful in the form of content updates, exclusive content and special purchasing offers. We value your privacy and do not rent nor sell your information to third parties. |
It seems like I'm required to log in multiple times. Can I stay logged on?
Log-in is only required to download and post to the Forum. No account is needed to browse the site's content. Our Forum software will not presently integrate the master My Account log-in, but your user name and password will work in both areas.
Our site logs out users automatically a little while after leaving the site. However, you should not have to re-log back in if you come back to the site a short while after having left it, especially if you haven't closed the browsing window. For dial-up users especially, we recommend keeping the site open in its own window if you choose to browse other sites in other windows while you are downloading. |
Why does Living Scriptures offer all of these resources for free?
Living Scriptures creates and distributes products that "teach values and change lives". In addition, LDSFamilyFun's mission is to offer parents exciting resources to use when teaching the Gospel. We strive to make Scriptural entertainment meaningful by adding lesson plans, activities, scriptural references, fun recipes, activity books and more. We're working to help LDS parents and caregivers "tie all of these things together" to give children a wonderful Scriptural learning experience. |
Is there a way of being notified when a new lesson or recipe is added to the site?
We offer an online email newsletter to registered users. This will be provided on a schedule that is no more frequent than once per week. The sign-up option is under the My Account tab at the top of the page. |
Why don't the video clips work on my computer?
You may not have Quicktime on your computer, or it may require an update. Go to www.quicktime.com to download a free copy of Quicktime. |
Does LDSFamilyFun accept content submissions?
We are also happy to hear suggestions, testimonials, and useful ideas. The Forum is a helpful place to post these as other users may also learn from your experiences--both successful and challenging.
For copyright and legal purposes, Living Scriptures does not accept unsolicited content submissions. However, we are always on the lookout for writers and content contributors. Please contact our Editor (link at left) to discuss your skills, experience and any current opportunities. |
Is LDSFamilyFun owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
